When yacht builder Leslie Lallande wanted to re-enter the market with a truly extraordinary sport yacht, he partnered with creative yacht designer Stephen Hill to create the new COSMOPOLITAN series. The Q 38, a 38 meter model, is the first in the series with a 42 and a 50 meter still on the drawing board. It is our passionate belief that there are yacht owners ready to move beyond the ordinary sport yacht and embrace the outstanding design and features of the Q 38. The Q 38 brings something fresh and new to the yachting industry and to all yacht owners searching for a yacht unlike any other on the ocean today. Traditional, smooth-riding, and at 40+ knots, incredibly fast and comfortable; its technological attributes combine to make the new Q 38- 38 meter an exceptional vessel. The Q 38S HYDRO RAIL© hull provides a dramatically gentle ride, as well as a dry, quiet, fast and efficient journey across the waves. The exterior styling blends the commuter look of the 30's with the more contemporary soft lines using composite construction methods. One of the more unique features of the Q 38 is her torpedo stern. When closed, it is smooth, voluptuous, and eye catching. When the aft door rises, the exposed BEACH CLUB© incorporates dinghy storage. Launch the dinghy and gain a comfortable outdoor teak lounging space, the BEACH CLUB©! Take a step further aft of the BEACH CLUB© to the large swim platform which expands the BEACH CLUB© deck to even greater dimensions. Walk into the cockpit and enter the spacious, inviting rear lounge with your own private bar, sitting area and entertainment space. Continue forward past the well-equipped, raised helm station into the airy, well lit, dining center and gracious main salon. Step down to the owner's and guest's areas where you will encounter a full beam master suite, a full beam VIP Suite, a queen size guest cabin and a double guest cabin, each with their own ensuite. Just forward of the engine room are the ample crew quarters, galley, and crew lounge. Even the engine room is a marvel of good design, accessible and reliable in every respect. A team consisting of Leslie Lallande, Stephen Hill, Jacques Lallande,Chris Gunter and Jon Overing are the people behind the Q 38 meter performance yacht.
