WOOD DUCK is the 36' version of her forebearer the 44' Able Downeast express, WOLF which in 1991-92 started the trend of building Downeast cruisers with the waterline down (underbody) of a planing express cruiser in place of the round-chined lobster yacht hull. Her C W Paine look and pedigree are unmistakable. She has benefitted from the stewardship of her owners who draw from a long yachting experience. She has been winter-stored indoors and yard maintained on the Connecticut River where she berths in season at Hamburg Cove (fresh water).
